Ellis County Chapter

of the

Native Plant Society of Texas

Welcome to the Ellis County Chapter of NPSOT

Ellis County has long been known for it’s grand courthouse and Victorian houses. Yet long before these existed there was the LAND.

The land in Ellis has always brought forth many beautiful Native Plants. These plants are exactly what we are about.

Join us! So we can learn together about their beauty and their usefulness.

Due to the booming urbanization of
the lands in Ellis, our Native  Plants are finding fewer places to make a home.

Come Join us!,    So we can learn together to find new homes for these wondrous plants in our own backyards and landscapes.

Learning together can be fun with featured speakers and field trips.

So, Join us!      or stop back here often, just to se what we are up to. The public is
always welcome to join us for these events.

Together we can keep our Native Plants around for generations to come!

Join Us!
