January 31 (Tues.), 7:00 PM - How to Interpret Bird Behavior in the Field - Kent Rylander

Kent will explain some principles of animal behavior and illustrate how they can be applied to interpreting bird behaviors in the field. Most of the species he will discuss are found locally. His one-hour talk will be accompanied by color slides of the birds that he discusses. Press release.

The program is in the Fellowship Hall of the Fredericksburg United Methodist Church, 1800 North Llano St., Fredericksburg. See below.

We hold chapter meetings January - October, on the last Tuesday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.  (Please note that some months have five Tuesdays, in which case we meet on the fifth Tuesday.)

Fredericksburg NPSOT chapter meetings are at Fredericksburg United Methodist Church at 1800 N. Llnao, in Fredericsburg. This location is on the corner of Hwy 16 North (Llano Street) and E. Driftwood Dr.  Map/Directions

Meetings include a short business meeting followed by a guest speaker on native plants or related topics.  Meetings last about an hour and a half, and are free and open to the public.  Everyone is welcome.
