June Meeting - The June 24th speaker will be Daimon Waitt. Daimon is with the Lady Bird Wildflower center in Austin. The program will be about Lady Bird and her work. Daimon knew and worked closely with Lady Bird Johnson. His personal accounts of Lady Bird will interest all.


We hold chapter meetings January - October, on the last Tuesday of the month starting at 7:00 p.m., unless otherwise noted.  (Please note that some months have five Tuesdays, in which case we meet on the fifth Tuesday.) 

GCHSWe meet at the Gillespie County Historical Society building located at 312 W. San Antonio St., Fredericksburg. 

Meetings include a short business meeting followed by a guest speaker on native plants or related topics.  Meetings last about an hour and a half, and are free and open to the public.  Everyone is welcome.
