We are starting our fourth year as a Chapter and continue to learn and grow.  We have committed to collecting seeds for the Millenium Seed Bank, under the direction of Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center.  We are participating in a seeding project at Bracken Bat Preserve .  We had another fund-raising booth at Earth Day in Seguin last April and made lots of new friends.  We are supporters of the Grow Local Festival in Schertz and the Community Garden.  We plan to continue these activities and add more as we are able.  We invite you to visit any of our meetings and get to know us better! We hope you will learn something about native plants in the process.  Click on our Meetings tab for directions to  the Library in Marion our new meeting place.

Chapter Goals: educate members about growing native plants, identifying natives and using natives effectively in the landscape.
Take field trips to places of interest.
Enjoy social activities where members get to know each other.
Do community projects in our area using native plants.

"The mission of the Native Plant Society of Texas is to promote the conservation, research and utilization of the native plants and plant habitats of Texas, through education, outreach and example."
