except East and the Panhandle. This plant takes a lot of room but
if you have the space it is really worth cultivating. The flowers are
truly beautiful and they are especially attractive to butterflies and
moths. The sphinx moths flock to them at night. Goldfinches eat
the seed and line their nests with the silky fluff.
