Checklist Native Plants for Landscaping Butterfly Larval Plants
The plants in the pamphlet "Native Plants for Landscaping in the Texas Hill Country" were initially selected by members of the Kerrville Native Plant Society to provide a list of common and deer resistant plants that can be used for landscaping in the Kerrville area.
The Wildflower Check List is a list of flowers (annuals, perennials, vines, shrubs and trees) grouped by family. Most of them have been found on a 33 acre plot south of Kerrville (Peņasco). Links to pictures of the flowers and a notation of where they were found will be added to the list as they become available.
The Butterfly Larval Plants were compiled by Barbara Lowenthal. The plants listed are native to the Texas Hill Country and the Edwards Plateau.
