About Us

We are a group of young people, admittedly some are younger than others, some may be smarter, and some can probably run faster; however, we all share a love for this beautiful habitat that we have inherited called Texas. So why do we think it makes sense to use native plants in our landscapes?
1. They require less water in our semi desert areas.
2. They require less maintenance thereby less energy.
3. They provide the habitat for our native wildlife.

Consider the life cycle of the Monarch Butterfly:
Our native Antelope Horns (milkweed) is the essential host plant for the Monarch.
