NPSOT 2010 Symposium

Silent Auction

Instructions for Donors

Collin County NSPOT chapter is organizing donations to the Symposium 2010 Silent Auction.  Every chapter and all individuals are encouraged to donate.  Most anything will do.  In keeping with the “How-To-Do-It” theme this year, please consider donating items that specifically promote sustainable living. These could be books on organic gardening, recycling, green living or the like; favorite “green wares” used at home or work such as gardening items, personal care products that are plant based, or items made of recycled materials such as note cards, tote bags, jewelry, etc. Jellies, jams and wine have always been popular items (and the glass jars are recyclable).

Auction proceeds fund NPSOT scholarships to university undergraduate and graduate students for academic research related to Texas native plants and/or to conservation and restoration of native-plant habitats of Texas. Recent scholarship recipients have been invited to attend the Symposium 2010.

Here’s how to make a donation:
  1. Complete the donor form.  Additional forms will be available at the Symposium.
  2. Email the Collin County chapter at silentauction@npsot.org and let us know what you plan to bring.  This will help us plan for proper display space to show off your donations in their best light.
  3. Bring your item and completed donor form to Symposium 2010.  Drop off instructions will be provided when you check in at the registration table.
  4. Or mail your item to Woodfin Neurological Clinic; 1105 No. Central Expwy, #2310; Allen, TX 75013
Please contact the Collin County Chapter at silentauction@npsot.org or the State office at 830-997-9272 with any questions.
