February 7 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Free webinar with Jaime González, Community & Equitable Conservation Programs Director, The Nature Conservancy in Texas.
How we manage and remake our landscapes have big implications for human health, equity, crime, academic achievement, climate resilience, and biodiversity conservation. Currently, many of our landscapes make these challenges even worse because they were designed for the 1800s not the 21st Century. Join The Nature Conservancy’s (TNC)-Texas’s Jaime González for an exploration of how and where we can rewild urban landscapes – including schools, neighborhoods, bus stops, and more – to make a more climate ready, wildly healthy Texas.
Participants will learn about land management techniques for human and biodiversity thriving, come away with an overview of the One Health and Wellbeing Framework and Actions, and discover valuable resources for doing this work.
Note there are two times for this webinar, 2pm and 7pm.
