The SFA Pineywoods Native Plant Center will be the site of the Symposium workshop offering, a plant sale, and other activities to be determined. It is also open for garden visits from dusk-till-dawn seven days a week.
This 42-acre garden on the north end of the Stephen F. Austin State University campus is a unique mixture of uplands, mesic mid-slopes, and wet creek bottoms. The Tucker House serves as the central feature of the property, which is surrounded by native forest and gardens that celebrate the wonderful diversity of native plants in the region. Additionally, the Tucker Woods Trail offers two miles of handicap accessible trails among varied habitats, as well as through the horticulture demonstration gardens surrounding the Tucker House.
