Welcome to the Elm Creek Chapter of Native Plant Society of Texas. We are from the Big Country around Abilene.
This Central Great Plains ecoregion is largely a limestone plateau that is hillier to the south and east where it is easily distinguished from bordering ecological regions by a sharp fault line. The region contains a sparse network of perennial streams, including Elm Creek.
