November 15, 2023 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Our Chapter meeting featured presentation this month will be Exploring the Impacts Plants have on Ecosystems and Wildlife in Urban Environments by Abie Ince-Hendrickson.
Due to the shared evolutionary history of native plants, pollinators, and wildlife, native plants are better suited to provide the natural resources needed for our wildlife and ecosystems to thrive. Learn about restoring ecosystems in your own backyard, estimating species biodiversity, and connecting the food web through planting native plants!
Abie is a wildlife biologist and founder of Living Wild, a native landscaping design firm specializing in restoring habitats in yards and properties. Abie is a member of the Heartwood Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists and Pines and Prairies Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas.
The chapter meeting will be a virtual Zoom meeting. Registration required using the link below.
