Wild Onions of North Texas

Presentation Details

A brief collaboration with a PhD student studying wild onions led Carol Clark to research, collect, appreciate and grow the wild onions of the North Central Texas region over the last ten years. She’ll explain how we can identify the several kinds of onions we can find near here, and fill us in on some of the underlying weirdness in this amazing and useful group of plants. Attendees will receive a cheat sheet for identifying the local onion species. (can be adapted for east and central Texas)
