As usual, the meeting will start with a social time at 6:00pm, at the Cibolo Nature Center Auditorium. The meeting will start at 6:45pm with announcements, following by the presentation. Bill Swantner will present Rethinking Water: What are the homeowner’s conservation responsibilities, and what are the possibilities? Mr. Swantner has been a certified Texas Master Gardener since 2017. In 2019, Bill was recognized by the Bexar County Master Gardener Association as Master Gardener of the Year for Bexar County, and was also awarded second place Master Gardener of the Year by the state Texas Master Gardener Association. Bill has studied with faculty of the New York Botanical Gardens. He is a member of the Texas Chapter of the International Society of Arborists; he has Advanced Training certification in Compost, Tree Care, Texas Superstars, Rainwater Harvesting, Turf Grass Management, Vegetables, First Detector (plant pathology), Entomology, Earthkind Landscaping, Plant Propagation and he volunteers at the San Antonio Botanical Garden’s propagation house.
