Weston Ranch Field Trip

Craig Bruska arranged a field trip of Weston Ranch on Saturday, June 17th. We were met at the gate by Matt Wagner, manager of Weston Ranch and Gunner (a white Labrador retriever). Matt provided a short history and description of Weston Ranch, which, at over 4000 acres, is the largest Blackland Prairie conservation area in Texas.

Guadalupe chapter members will remember similar field trips to Kirchoff Family Farm and Warbler Woods

The mission of the Weston Ranch Foundation is to honor the vision of Caroline and Grainger Weston by serving the community, family and educational institutions. They do this by conserving, restoring, and enhancing the land, water and wildlife located in an urbanizing area in south central Texas.
