Maintenance

Blooms March-May. Tendril vine attaches to walls. Orange-red, trumpet-shaped flowers with short bloom time of 7 – 10 days in spring. Persistent, semi-evergreen leaves change from dark green in summer to reddish-purple in winter. Deer browse on the leaves. Pollination: Hummingbirds, butterflies and bees.
