**ARCHIVED POST **
The graphics department at the City of Austin has created and donated two new graphics for publicizing Texas Native Plant Week.
Texas Native Plant Week (TNPW) is October 14-20 by official proclamation of the Texas Legislature. Events and programs are being planned all over the state of Texas during that week. An official website has been set up to list the events and other resources — something for every member of the family to enjoy.
In addition to the Native Plant Society of Texas, other organizations who are official sponsors include the City of Austin and its Grow Green program, Austin radio station KLRU, the Texas Parks and Wildlife program, National Wildlife Federation, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center and the San Antonio Botanical Garden.
The graphics are being made available at the TNPW website for download and can be used by anyone to help publicize the event. They are suitable for use on newsletters, websites, posters, press releases and any other printed or electronic medium.
