September 3 @ 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Our chapter’s annual “Show and Tell” meeting will be on Tuesday September 3. Members and other attendees are encouraged to show pictures and tell about their favorite native Texas plants. Everyone is invited to participate and there is no minimum length, but we request presentations to be limited to 10 minutes. The only requirement is that you show and discuss native Texas plants.
The meeting will be a hybrid, with attendance options either in-person at the Heard Museum’s Laughlin Hall or virtually via Zoom. Enter Laughlin Hall from the southern entrance to the museum. Presenters can be in person or remote.
To participate, all you need to do is send an email to timcast@gmail.com with a PowerPoint, Google Slides, or PDF that you will be showing. Please convert presentations in Apple’s Keynote software to one of these formats. Also, please do not send photos – convert them into a PDF format using Microsoft’s or Apple’s “Print to PDF” function. This will ensure your photos are in the order you want to present.
Social time starts at 6:30 pm, at 7:00 our chapter president, Rodney Thomas, will give a brief chapter update, and followed by the showing and telling of our native plants. We look forward to seeing and hearing about your native Texas plants.
