Biography
After a successful career as a professional chef, and a second career handling props and set dressing on many notable films, Vicki began to explore her love of nature. She’s been a Travis County Master Gardener for 20 years, and a Texas Master Naturalist for the past 5. She wrote the herb column for Texas Gardener Magazine for many years but now prefers to teach in person to better engage with her audience. Native Texas pollinators are her passion, and she gardens accordingly in her mostly native, pesticide-free garden between Travis and Williamson Counties.
