Biography
Amy joined the Society in 2022 to connect with other native plant champions. She has tended flower and / or vegetable gardens of varying size for most her adult life. Her current project is tending her two acre property near Conroe, Texas – systematically removing invasives and cultivating natives. Amy loves to share her knowledge and interest in the natural world with anyone who will listen, but especially with her six children. A Montgomery County resident since 2010, Amy is an active volunteer with several community service agencies including Compassion United, Prison Entrepreneurship Program, Virtuosi of Houston and ORHS Band Boosters (past president).
