The is a great spring for Texas native plants.
Many Native Plant Society chapters are conducting plant sales to support their local projects. You can also find sales at botanical gardens and nature centers. Here is a list of native plant sales coming up this spring that we know of. We’ll keep this updated as more information comes in.
- April 2, Boerne – Mostly Native Plant Sale sponsored by Cibolo Nature Center, Kendall County Fairgrounds 9-3
- April 2, Nacogdoches –Plant Sale and Earth Day Celebration at Pineywoods Native Plant Center 9-2
- April 2, Flower Mound – Trinity Forks Chapter Annual Plant Sale, Home Depot parking lot Flower Mound 10-1
- April 9, San Antonio – Bexar Roots Plant Sale at Phil Hardberger Park (East) 9-12
- April 9, Stephenville – Native & Heirloom Plant Sale, Stephenville Museum 9-3
- April 9-10, Austin – Spring Plant Sale, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center Saturday 9-5 Sunday 12-5. Our Austin Chapter and Williamson County Chapter will bring plants to sell in addition to the WFC.
- April 9-10, New Braunfels – Heritage Village. Lindheimer Chapter will have plants to sell Saturday 11–6, Sunday 12–5
- April 9-10, Dallas – Butterfly Plant Sale, Texas Discovery Gardens 10-2
- April 15-17, McKinney – Heard Museum & Wildlife Sanctuary’s Spring Plant Sale, Collin County Chapter and many other vendors will have plants to sell.
- April 23, Weatherford – Weatherford Blooms Festival. Cross Timbers Chapter will have plants to sell on the courthouse square 9-3
- April 23, Alpine – Spring Plant Sale. Big Bend Chapter will have plants for sale at Brown Dog Gardens 9-1
- April 23, Amarillo – Amarillo Botanical Gardenfest 9-2
- April 23, Glen Rose – Earth Day celebration with native plants for sale by Prarie Rose Chapter
- April 23, Kerrville – Native Plant Sale & Festival, Riverside Nature Center 8-3
- April 30, Dallas – Native Plant & Prairie Day. Dallas Chapter will sell plants at White Rock Lake Bath House & Cultural Center 10-3
- April 30, Seguin – Earth Day Celebration. Central Park 10-4
- May 7, Arlington – Spring Plant Sale at River Legacy Park 10-2
- May 7, Atlanta – Native Plant Sale at Cass County Exposition Center 8:30 -12
