Benefits of Native Plants

Presentation Details

You may already have heard about some of the benefits of native plants–savings on water, time, fertilizer, and pesticides—but there are many more reasons to choose native plants for your landscape. In this program you will learn why native plants in your own landscape are crucial to a functioning ecosystem. You’ll also hear about some surprising ways that non-native plants can modify ecosystems to their own benefit and to the detriment of local plants and animals.

This will be customized for the audience experience level, with beginner through advanced versions available.
