The Native Plant Society of Texas will offer 10 landscaping classes this spring. Our one-day classes for the Native Landscaping Certification Program have been converted to a virtual format so that you may take them without leaving your home.
Click through to the class list to find a class and register.
The classes are offered for 8 different regions around the state. Although you may register for a class in any region, you will get the most benefit from a class designed for an area near you. We are offering the Level 1 class, the Level 3 class and the Native Landscapes for Birds class at multiple locations. All the classes are entirely virtual except for one class offered in Boerne which is primarily virtual except for a brief outdoor walk in a local nature center. There are no plans to offer any in-person instruction this spring.
Classes are intended to be useful both to homeowners and professionals. Classes have an emphasis on helping students become familiar with the identification and use of specific plants native to their region.
CEUs are now offered by International Society of Arboriculture and Texas Nursery and Landscape Association. Texas Master Naturalists and Texas Master Gardeners count classes as training hours.
