Native Landscape Certification Program

Trinity Forks encourages you to take classes in the Native Landscape Certification Program (NLCP). Please take classes in our region – Denton, Collin County, Dallas, Tarrant County. We all work together to provide a cohesive plant list based on our soils and climate. Classes in other locations will cover different plants.

There are four levels in the NLCP program.

Level 1, Introduction to Native Landscapes, must be taken before Levels 2 or 3.
Levels 2, Landscaping Design with Native Plants, and Level 3, Installation and Maintenance of Native Landscapes, may be taken in any order.
Level 4, Stewardship of Native Plant Communities, has no pre-requisite.
Our companion class, Landscaping for Birds, has no pre-requisite. This class was developed in collaboration with the Audubon Society
