For the Bees and Beyond: Rescuing Pollinator Plants and Endemics in Central Texas
Ethical native plant rescue offers a chance to diversify pollinator habitat with rehomed endemics and species of conservation need. Join us for stories about native plants, the pollinators they support, and the property owners granting the privilege of collecting native seed and plants before clearing for construction.
Ali is a Texas Master Naturalist, TreeFolks Urban Forest Steward, and founder of Central Texas Plant Rescuers. She leads native tree ID and plant walks in Travis and Hays counties and does Blanco river restoration work.
Join us for our monthly Chapter Meeting, 4th Tuesday of each month at 7PM (with social time at 6:30PM). We will have a table with seeds to swap. Bring some seeds to share. You are also welcome to bring food or drink to share.
Location: Lakewood Clubhouse at 7317 Lakewood Dr, Austin, TX 78750.
The meeting has a Zoom hybrid option as well. To attend online, you must register for the Zoom meeting: https://npsot-org.zoom.us/meeting/register/IFCYEBtFTpGqPY0r7OAFkQ
