Heather Bass is a Water Conservation Supervisor at Tarrant Regional Water District in Fort Worth. She has a master’s degree in Environmental and Earth Sciences and a bachelor’s in biology, with a focus on conservation and restoration of natural systems. Heather has researched rare Texas plant populations, sustainable landscaping practices, prairie restorations, and the effects of climate change on ecosystems. Her duties at TRWD include managing outdoor water conservation projects and increasing awareness of conservation landscaping practices. Heather enjoys gardening with native Texas plants and spending time in nature.
