Do you find yourself wanting to talk about native plants to complete strangers, do you revel in finding a specific native plant, or learning about a new plant and do you love walking in a native area? This is the opportunity for you. The 15 acre Native Texas Park located on the campus of the Bush Presidential Library, 2943 SMU Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75205 is beginning its weekly Saturday, 10 am & 11 am Fall tours, September 8, continuing through November 10. The Dallas Chapter of NPSOT has partnered with the Bush Library to join Park Docents in educating the Park visitors about the need for biodiversity, conservation and native landscape, in a natural and formal setting. The Fall park tour emphasis is Monarch Migration and Fall Foliage.
1 to 2 volunteers needed each Saturday. There will be a short orientation meeting for NPSOT volunteers and Park Docents.
