The Collin County Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Texas connects residents of Collin and surrounding counties with the unique native plants of our region. Through education, outreach, and advocacy, we help individuals and communities create healthier local environments using native plants. Our chapter:
Hosts monthly programs featuring expert speakers on native plants, habitats, and conservation
Creates and maintains native plant demonstration gardens
Supports prairie and habitat preservation efforts
Offers field trips to native plant sites
Promotes the use of native plants at local events and through partnerships with schools and community organizations
Engages in hands-on projects such as the “Bring Back the Monarchs” program and Native Plants in Schools
Provides educational resources, garden design assistance, and native plant information
