Our chapter is deeply saddened by the recent passing of long-time member Tony Manasseri.
Tony was an absolute cornerstone of our chapter, actively involved in nearly every facet of our work. Whether he was serving as a chapter officer, volunteering for field projects, or sharing his extensive knowledge of native Texas plants, Tony was always there when needed.
His positive attitude, constant smile, and ability to connect with everyone made him an invaluable part of our chapter. Tony’s commitment to North Texas conservation extended beyond our group; he was also a dedicated Texas Master Naturalist and a frequent volunteer at the Heard Museum.
We owe a massive debt of gratitude to Tony for his years of generosity and hard work. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.
