The Native Plant Society of Texas had a booth at the Texas Nursery and Landscape (TNLA) Expo in San Antonio, Aug. 10 – 11. Haely Giambalvo, member of the San Antonio Chapter, also gave a presentation about native plants.
We shared information about the benefits of using native plants in our landscapes, tips on selecting and maintaining these plants, plus information about our Native Landscape Certification Program classes.
It is the first time NPSOT has participated in the Texas Nursery and Landscape Association Expo. Laura Legett, President of the Hill Country chapter, coordinated this effort and said that our booth has been very popular.
